Created both in combination and competition with the popular Wacky Packages series, the Wacky Ads series is larger in size and requires only 36 cards for a complete set. Not without its share of drama, card #25 Good and Empty of the 1969 Topps Wacky Ads series was pulled from the set early in the production run and is extremely scarce, much like the famed 1954 Bowman Ted Williams baseball card. However, Ted Williams was replaced by Jim Piersall as card #66 of the '54 Bowman set while the Good and Empty card was not replaced, making it extremely difficult to complete the set. Featured here is an incredible near-complete wax box with 19 of the 24 packs. One of the more difficult offerings of unopened material from the 1960s in the genre of non-sports.
