With so many rookie cards of Hall of Famers enjoying booming increases in value, it's pretty amazing that a 1968 Topps Ryan/Koosman card graded PSA 8, which was already immensely popular, is still within reach of many collectors. And it's not exactly the easiest card to find in high grade, with most being disqualified for either inferior centering or print dots within the purple circle or on Ryan's hat. While this example is positioned mildly toward the horizontal left side, the NM/MT+ endpoints and super-clean surface devoid of stray print are more in line with examples graded much higher. If you've yet to acquire a high-end example of Nolan Ryan's rookie card for your collection, you should strongly consider this one.
