The grand prize of the 1966 Topps set, and virtually any set for that matter, this MINT specimen of Mickey Mantle is amazing, With PSA only grading one higher out of about 7,000 total submissions, it's the best help you can possibly get in raising the level of any collection, whether it's a PSA Set Registry '66 Topps set or a world-class Mantle collection. Solid MINT to GEM MINT edges and endpoints provide the foundation, while the precision centering is just a hair to the right of dead-on perfect. The borders are factory-fresh white, accentuating the surprisingly sharp image of The Mick. The reverse is a perfectly clean representation of gaudy offensive statistics, printed in deep black ink to match the nameplate at the top left. Though Mantle was clearly on the tail end of his illustrious career, he still managed to wrap out 23 homers in just 333 at bats in the 1966 season. The glowing salmon color is flawless, bested only but the sheer brilliance of the surrounding white border. Few specimens can compare to the near flawless eye appeal that this iconic card offers!
