Having completed his sixth consecutive .300+ season, Roberto Clemente had established himself as one of the best pure hitters in baseball by the time this 1966 Topps card was released. With virtually perfect centering, incredible bold color and picture-perfect registration, this example is extremely close to being GEM MINT, with only microscopic enamel wear at the extreme endpoints prevent it from entering uncharted waters as the first and only PSA 10 on record out of well over 2,000 submissions.
