There are quite a few significant rookie cards in the 1965 Topps series but the debut card of lefty ace Steve Carlton is arguably the best of the best. Brilliant white borders team with the dense black frame to create an amazing contrast, accentuating the portrait of young "Lefty" at the start of his illustrious career. The endpoints are truly MINT from corner to corner and the reverse has an unusually bold blue color without any of the color fading that most have experienced. A very strong MINT example fit for a top-notch PSA Set Registry collection.
