The 1965 KC Athletics were a horrible team, losing 103 games and finishing dead last in the American League. But two of their members went on to the Hall of Fame; an up and coming 19-year old hurler named Jim "Catfish" Hunter and a 58-year old geezer who came out of retirement to hurl 3 scoreless innings, the legendary Satchel Paige. Both Paige and Hunter have signed this Kansas City Athletics team ball, which features Haywood Sullivan on the sweet spot and 32 other autographs. In addition to Paige and Hunter, other signatures include Green, Aker, Talbot, Lachemann, Charles, Harrelson, Herzog, Joyce, Tartabull, Sheldon, Lindblad, Bryan, Mossi, Lopat, Wyatt, Reynolds, Tompkins, Stahl, Appling, Campanaris, Stock, Dickson, Causey, Krausse, O'Donoghue, Landis, Segui, Buschhorn and others.
