The 1964 season was a "down" year for Koufax as he "only" won 19 games, had a 1.74 ERA and tossed 7 shutouts, while missing a quarter of the season. Offered here is a pristine PSA MINT 9 example of Sandy's intimate 1964 Topps issue that appears to check all the boxes for GEM MINT status save for ... well, we're not quite sure. Image quality, surfaces, even the corners and edges appear to have the right stuff for PSA's top grade. At any rate, this is a top-quality MINT example of Sandy Koufax that any advanced collector should be satisfied with.
