It's always a good Topps set when card #1 offers you up a great image of the legendary Sandy Koufax. The only NL pitcher in the league with an ERA under 2.00, Koufax takes the top spot over Dick Ellsworth and Bob Friend on this SGC 88 NM/MT 8 opener, decently centered with above grade endpoints that easily could've earned it another half-grade on a different day. A great way to start off a challenging 1964 Topps collection.
