Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Roberto Clemente’s greatness transcended the diamond. On it, he was electrifying with his penchant for bad-ball hitting, his strong throwing arm from right field, and the way he played with a reckless but controlled abandon. Off it, he was a role model to the people of his homeland and elsewhere. Helping others represented the way Clemente lived. It would also represent the way he died. Offered is a stunning top end MINT 9 example of Clemente's 1963 Topps card. To date, a mere two examples have graded in advance of the offered copy. Precise centering with four needle like corners are the basis for the grade. The surface demonstrates an abundance of sublime color and gloss. A tremendous card to add to your HOF portfolio.
