The 1961 campaign was a turning point for the highly-touted Koufax, going from 36-40 and a 4.10 ERA over his first six seasons to 129-47 with a 2.19 ERA over the last six seasons.
This great offering from the 1961 Topps collection shows some light stray print common to the issue but is otherwise a high-end NM/MT to NM/MT+ card with the colorful image of Koufax ably protected with a strong layer of factory gloss. Suitable for any advanced assemblage.
