As the most dominant player ever to take to the hardcourt, the 1961 Fleer rookie card of Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain serves as a hobby icon. But even with the card's wild popularity, there are so few examples that carry Wilt's signature. The featured example is signed by Chamberlain on the reverse, his preferred location on the card, in sharp ballpoint pen to the horizontal left, allowing the observer to read his gaudy statistics from both the 1960-61 season as well as his career. The issue is characteristically off-center but this one is better than most, just mildly shifted toward the upper left quadrant and appearing VG/EX overall. A tough find for any autographed rookie card collector.
