While Topps was producing cards of current stars, Fleer was reminiscing about yesterday's heroes with their 1960 and 1961 collections. Ted Williams, who they already had under contract, was the only active player in the sets. Presented are complete 1960 and 1961 Fleer sets, both predominantly EX to EX/MT with some a little lower or higher. The 1960 set has #3 Ruth NM, 28 Gehrig EX, 42 Cobb EX/MT, 62 Wagner NM/MT and 72 T. Williams VG/EX+ while the '61 collection has #14 Cobb NM, 31 Gehrig EX/MT, 75 Ruth EX+ and 152 T. Williams EX/MT.
