Following their 1959 set dedicated entirely to Ted Williams, Fleer issued a 79-card set in 1960 featuring "Baseball Greats," all top players from days gone by plus a card depicting the Splendid Splinter, who was in his final major league season. Cards feature color photos inside blue, green, yellow or red borders designed to look like frames. The key cards are as follows: 3 Ruth NM+, 28 Gehrig EX/MT, 42 Cobb NM, 62 Wagner NM and 72 Williams. The rest of the set is 20% NM/MT or better, 40% NM, 35% EX/MT and 5% lower.
