The Brian P. Burnes Nostalgia Award was a creation of the St. Louis chapter of the Baseball Writer's Association of America that honors an individual that made a positive impact on the youth of America in the St. Louis area. "Sunny Jim" Bottomley certainly fit that description and was awarded this engraved 10" x 15" metal on wood plaque for his efforts. Included are the ceremony program and letter from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch informing Bottomley of the honor.
