Cleaning up the legal matters of an estate can get messy, and here's a trio of items that were useful in settling all the matters involved. First up is a letter from the Fleer Company asking Jim Bottomley for permission to use his information and likeness to create a commemorative baseball card series for the payment of $125, with a facsimile signature of Bottomley. The second letter, also from Fleer, is addressed to Bottomley's estate following his death that had included the $125 check as contracted. The final paper includes items involved in settling the estate, with the $125 payment from Fleer included.
