On October 7th, 1957 the New York Yankees and Milwaukee Braves entered the 5th game of the World Series tied at two games each. With Game 1 winning pitcher Whitey Ford facing off with Game 2 winner Lew Burdette, the sell-out crowd of 45,811 expected a low scoring game, and that's exactly what they got! In the bottom of the sixth with two outs and nobody on, Eddie Mathews, Hank Aaron, and Joe Adcock singled, scoring Mathews and giving the Braves a 1–0 lead that would hold up for the rest of the game. However, the original owner of this bleacher ticket from Milwaukee County Stadium didn't make it to the game, keeping his unused ticket in pristine condition instead, where it would eventually end up housed in a PSA 10 GEM MINT holder, the one and only example (stub or full ticket) to be graded PSA 10 from any of the 1957 World Series games, which includes over 100 PSA submissions. Amazing artwork and brilliant color grace the surface of this oversized treasure, originally costing two dollars in 1957 but worth a little more than that now. This is an incredible specimen!
