Offered is the cleanest, most PD-free example of Frank Robinson's notoriously imperfect 1957 Topps rookie issue these eyes have ever seen. Mildly and reassuringly rough-cut edges meet at perfect corners around an incredibly well-centered image for the issue that shows absolutely no traces whatsoever of the pesky print snow so common to the 1957 Topps card #35. Very accurately registered for the issue as well, with deep, clean colors throughout. The reverse mirrors the front in its immaculate state of perfection, with noticeably bold red and blue print and zero traces of wax. Non-existent in both PSA 10 GEM MINT and SGC 98 GEM 10 condition, this GAI 10 PERFECT example of the 1966 AL Triple Crown winner's rookie issue is a full step above GAI 9.5 GEM MINT and may very likely be the single finest example in existence. Especially for those familiar with the difficulty of the issue, here's a Frank Robby rookie that simply takes your breath away!
