Building a 1957 Topps basketball set at the PSA 8 level is extremely difficult given the poor centering of the series, so when one comes up for auction, it's a good idea to make a serious run. The centering on this Dave Piontek card is virtually perfect with at least one corner that is MINT. Some cards from this set slide into a PSA 8 holder but this one easily completes the task and can argue for an extra half-point.
