Graded MINT 96 (9) by SGC. Pictured as a bonus baby with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Drysdale would show his true medal with the team after their move to the West Coast. Drysdale teamed with Sandy Koufax and the two anchored the best pitching staff in Baseball. In 1968 a year that was to be dubbed "The Year Of The Pitcher" Drysdale would pitch 58.2 scoreless innings, after pitching his fifth consecutive shutout he was praised by none other than Bobby Kennedy after the California Presidential Primary in a speech he gave just before he was assassinated. The offered card provides four nearly lethal corners as well as a print free appearance. The color is captivating while the surface is ablaze underneath a convergence of booming gloss. The reverse is well imaged with no noticeable defects. A stunning card presented in the strongest and highest level of MINT condition.
