Sporting the more difficult white back that shows some mild toning but is still plenty white for the issue, Hammerin' Hank Aaron makes his third Topps appearance on this horizontal 1956 release, an intriguing piece of baseball card history in that, while the portrait shot that dominates the left half of the obverse is clearly a likeness of Aaron, the figure depicted racing home on the right-hand side is actually Willie Mays in an airbrushed Braves uniform. The offered example, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA, shows pack-fresh colors on both the front and back, with adequate centering.
