With many different non-sports issues created by Topps in the 1950s, it became preferable to distribute them in generic boxes, which was far less costly than designing a box for every new series. Marked "Trading Card Guild" to give it the same initials as Topps Chewing Gum, each box was stamped on the side with the subject of the cello packs within. Offered is a generic cello box from the 1956 Topps Jets series, stamped "Jet Cards" on the side, in incredible, like-new condition. Only the slightest of corner wear is present and the free standing box top has experienced no creasing, and fits perfectly with the base. This is just about as good as it gets.
