Coming off a spectacular 1956 rookie year which saw Herb strike out a league-leading, rookie-record 245 batters, his future looked promising indeed. Unfortunately, he was never the same after the eye injury and retired in 1962. The offered card is graded PSA 7 and features outstanding color and solid centering.
