The glowing yellow backgrounds on some 1955 Topps cards invite stray print to invade the surface but this example of Preston Ward has largely been spared that problem and, coupled with near-perfect centering and MINT to GEM MINT endpoints, comes in at an elevated grade of PSA 9. Just 6 others have achieved a MINT grade from PSA with none graded higher.
