One of the first athletes to excel in two professional sports, Ace Parker won the NFL MVP Award in 1940 with the Brooklyn Dodgers and also played in the infield for two seasons with the Philadelphia Athletics. Ace is pictured on this 1955 Topps All-American card as a quarterback for Duke, his black and white background shot supporting a larger image and surrounding border of blue and red pigments. A wonderful PSA 8 specimen ready to join an upper-grade collection.
