Presented is an absolutely vivacious example of "Rapid Robert" from the notoriously difficult '54 Wilson Franks issue. This card is completely devoid of the staining and blemishing that so often resulted from direct insertion into packages of hot dogs, and the orange-peach background is vibrant enough to capture an otherwise impartial viewer's attention from across the room. Even the reverse is amazingly fresh and exhibits unusually bold black printer's ink. Having avoided the common pitfall of centering issues so common in the '54 Wilson Franks series, this rare beauty is one of just 5 to register at PSA 8 with only 3 graded higher.
