The Red Wing franchise is loaded with Hall of Fame skaters from the 1950s and '60s, and blueliner Red Kelly is one of them. A legend among Red Wings fans, Kelly lit the lamp 281 times in his 20 year NHL career, playing in an era when defensemen were not known as prolific scorers. Almost 300 PSA submissions are on the books to this point and just 3 have graded higher than this 1954 Topps PSA 8 NM/MT specimen. The barely detectable chipping along the bottom is commensurate with the grade, as is the overall perimeter quality.
