The 1954 Topps card of Hall of Famer and immortal barrier-breaker Jackie Robinson is one of his most popular, in part due to the glowing yellow backdrop that is absolutely sublime if you can find one with a minimal amount of the usual stray print dots like this PSA 8 specimen. The presented treasure exhibits a bold and lustrous surface with layers of original factory gloss protecting a well-focused image that is centered just a tad toward the left edge. Borders are clean and white, the reverse is boldly printed and stain-free, and the corners are easily within the standards for the opined grade. A beautiful specimen ripe for the taking!
