Recently graded PSA 8 NM/MT. Offered next for your bidding consideration is an astonishingly presentable specimen of Mickey Mantle's popular 1954 Bowman issue for the professionally opined evaluation of NM/MT 8 from the increasingly conservative graders at PSA. Very accurately centered with surefire MINT to GEM MINT edges around a pristinely registered image, the likes of which we rarely encounter on the issue. So sharp are the outlines around Mick's next and ears that one begins to see the "Commerce Comet" in 3-D the longer he admires the card, shaking his head, saying, "THIS is what a NM/MT 8 looks like these days?" To be fair, microtouches to the top left and bottom right corners preclude consideration for MINT 9, but with such bold and accurate print qualities under such a resilient layer of factory-fresh gloss, one wouldn't be out of line to question, if not demand, consideration for NM/MT+ 8.5 from PSA. Delightfully and indisputably high-end!
