A fitting tribute to the 1953 New York Yankees world championship team, this Spalding baseball is labeled "Yankees 1953" in an unknown hand and contains 29 signatures from the squad, including a vintage Mickey Mantle penning just below "Ed" Ford to the right of the sweet spot, which is signed by Noren and Reynolds. Other signatures include Gorman, McDonald, Silvera Lopat, Coleman, Miller, Bauer, Triandos, Bolling, B. Martin, Woodling, Schallock, McDougald, Carey, Kraly, Miranda, Rizzuto, Houk, Renna, Sain, Raschi, Mize, Kuzava and Berra. LOA from JSA.
