The 1953 Topps issue is somewhat light on rookie cards, but one important inaugural cardboard appearance is that of Jim Gilliam, short-printed in the high-number series. The offered example bears the grade of EX+ 5.5 as determined by PSA, showing light, mostly uniform corner wear with a slightly more exaggerated touch to the susceptible lower right.
