If there's one card that virtually any collector would trade their entire inventory for, it's a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. And while high-grade specimens have been out of reach for the vast majority of hobbyists for a while now, there was always the option to find a less that attractive "beater" at an affordable price. But even for most, that option has gone by the wayside as well, short of taking on a POOR to FAIR that barely resembles what it's supposed to be. But if you're still holding out hope of landing a respectable example of Mantle's 1952 Topps card at a price that won't require a home equity line of credit, we've got an offer that might satisfy your needs. This example is graded SGC 20 FAIR 1.5 and clearly has condition issues, but looks pretty decent considering. The corners are consistently rounded with no glaring liability while the sporadic wrinkles and creases on the surface don't take your focus off of Mantle. Light blemishes on the surface as well as the upper right and lower left corners aren't too severe and the reverse doesn't give you anything too objectionable. For the grade, it's really a pretty nice card, and potentially a lot of collectors' last chance to land a '52 Topps Mantle.
