I could’ve been a contender! Writing about vintage graded cards, always aiming for objectivity, there are inevitable occasions when I encounter items like the offered collectible that cause considerable angst. If not for its observable off-centering, the offered 1952 Topps Willie Mays would be a sure contender for a GEM MINT holder. A virtually perfect surface, GEM MINT corners, and MINT edges are strong enough arguments to balance the card’s centering for an overall PSA NM/MT 8 grade. Cardboard class. Real cardboard class!
