Issued in the spring of 1952 under the moniker of "Hit Parade Of Champions" by the Berk Ross novelty company, the offered card is a bit of an esoteric issue that captures Mantle in a more life-like depiction of same pose as his Bowman rookie card issued the previous year. A centering bias toward the northeast horizontal corner precludes the card from a higher grade as the four corners are surely stronger than the assessed grade of NM. A clean example of this popular issue.
