A sheet of 16 paper cards, including Rocky Marciano, Primo Carnera, and a double-print of entertainer Bob Hope, are mounted on a thick cardboard backing to create this promotional Junge's "Bread for Energy" advertising display from 1950. Created in this matter so that different 16-card sheets could be used, likely catering the images to each specific target market, the 14" x 22" display piece offered here has been well-maintained overall with moderate areas of wear around the perimeter and visible creases in the upper left and lower right corners, the latter impeding upon the Roy Barcroft card though the others are completely intact. The reverse shows age-toning and spotting but no other significant liabilities. A great display piece from the early years of the post-war era.
