One of the most prolific passers of his day, Hall of Fame signal-caller Sid Luckman led the league in passing yards and touchdowns three times, his 28 TD performance in 1943 beating Sammy Baugh's 23 with no other QB reaching double digits. Like many other players in the inaugural 1948 Bowman series, Luckman's card is considered his rookie card and this SGC 96 MINT 9 example is the only one ever graded MINT by SGC with none graded higher. Near perfect centering and marvelous MINT to GEM MINT corners frame a clean, perfectly delivered image of the grimacing gunslinger with an immaculate, pack-fresh reverse that is graced by bold red and black print. Truly exceptional!
