With back to back home run crowns and Most Valuable Player performances, Jimmie Foxx took over the title of greatest hitting threat from Babe Ruth and appropriately earned the nickname "The Beast." Pictured with his war club in hand, this offered 1941 Play Ball card is well-centered and exceedingly fresh, sporting outstanding white borders that encase a fantastic artist's depiction of the great slugger against a clean pastel background of various colors. The four corners certainly contribute to making the card deserving of the lofty grade, and the reverse offers a deeply ink-emblazoned bio on a typically toned canvas. Exceptional!
