A unique 8" x 10" Type I image of Joe DiMaggio taken during batting practice at old Yankee Stadium. The news caption on verso says "Joe DiMaggio is all set to hit one into the stands". Photo rates VG/VG-EX due to heavy creasing restricted mostly to the perimeter, as well as it's missing the top 2 corners. Considered the best all-around player of his time, DiMaggio was a three-time MVP winner and 13-time All-Star, making him the only player to be selected for the All-Star Game in every season he played. In his thirteen year career the Yankees won ten American League pennants and nine World Series championships.
