Extremely rare and highly coveted because it was issued following "The Yankee Clipper's" rookie season, this example of Joe DiMaggio is part of the elusive set of 1937 O-Pee-Chee cards that were designed as a die-cut that can be folded back in the same way as the 1964 Stand-Up series from Topps. As a result, many V300s were damaged from the folding or the die-cut backgrounds are completely missing. However, the featured item is perfectly intact and displays a wonderful, sharply delivered image with four EX to EX/MT corners. The centering appears to be accurate and the bilingual bios on the reverse are clean and easy to read (in English anyway). A tough find to add to your DiMaggio checklist.
