It's hard to believe that this display box, sat on a candy store shelf almost 75 years ago has survived in this condition! While relatively minor wear and sporadic creases have inevitably taken their place, the box cover and flaps remain impressively intact, with the bold red, robust blue, and toned white color still catching the attention of the observer as they did in the 1930s, when they offered a free Goudey photo in exchange for two Big League gum wrappers. It appears that a liquid substance had splattered on the top and side of the box decades ago but does not detract from the mystique of this rare relic.
