Dated March 17, 1935, the Babe shakes hands with former boss and Yankee owner Jack Ruppert as a member of the Boston Braves in this classic Type I photo. This 9" x 7" snapshot is in extremely presentable condition with a noticeable but not significant crease running from the middle of the bottom edge, going up about an inch but not affecting either image. On the reverse is the Associated Press stamp and press release.
