Probably the highest grade possible that is still within affordability for most collectors, this PSA 5 example of Lou Gehrig's coveted 1934 Goudey card #61 has a perimeter whose strength is clearly superior to the grade but is counterbalanced by a southeast centering bias. The front image is excellent and the reverse is problem-free save for the usual age toning. A delightful card for any collector that has always wanted a good-looking Goudey Gehrig.
