Boasting a spectacular array of red and blue colors and a remarkably clear image of the "Mechanical Man," the offered '34 Goudey Charley Gehringer card is as captivating as it is elusive. Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA, the top corners appear above-grade while the lower vertices show very light evidence of handling. Centering very subtly favors the left, not uncommon for the issue, but this fact is completely overshadowed by the freshness and overall visual appeal of the card. The reverse is clean and blemish-free, save for a hint of factory wet sheet transfer, and to date, just 5 examples have attained higher grades from PSA. Truly remarkable!
