After winning the Grand Slam of professional golf, prodigy Bobby Jones abruptly retired from competition at age 28 to concentrate on his law practice. Jones played in 31 majors, winning 13 and placing among the top ten 27 times, all while retaining his amateur status. Golf's first dominant force is depicted on this 1933 Sport Kings issue, graded PSA 7 NM and exhibiting a superb above-grade image and perimeter to balance the very slight centering toward the bottom edge. Typical toning on the reverse adds character to the important issue. A key card from an iconic series.
