Often overlooked amongst the games greatest hurlers, Hall of Famer Burleigh Grimes was the last legal spitball pitcher in the major leagues and used his abilities to compile 270 victories over a 19 year career, topping the 20 win mark five times. This card was issued near the end of his career and offers near perfect centering, sharp corners and deep, midnight blue color. There are only two examples which grade higher.
