Committing to purchasing a Goudey Babe Ruth card at any grade is a serious step, so we try to give you as much information as possible to help you along. The offered "yellow Ruth" doesn't grade higher than PSA 4 VG/EX primarily due to the side to side centering but offers plenty of other pleasing characteristics usually reserved for much higher graded examples. A wonderful shade of mustard yellow emblazons the background of this pasteboard while the image of Ruth stands out and assumes full control of the observer's eye. The corners and edges stand up well to the VG/EX assessment and the reverse is well printed with a deep bold green set against an off white stock with no evidence of any major flaws. We think this is an investment with solid value!
