Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. Featured is a recently graded example of one of the more difficult "star" cards from the 1933 Goudey issue, the low numbered version of Hall Of Famer Jimmy Foxx. The offered example is far from what a hobbyist normally encounters, as a stunning backdrop of vibrant yellow greets the entranced onlooker who is smitten by the crisp, cleanly-registered image of the great slugger. Four strong upper end NM/MT corners define this exceptionally difficult card while the unblemished pristine white borders frame the image. The centering is astute from top to bottom while the left to right centering favors the left border. The reverse is not the typical dirty blemished surface usually encountered on even higher graded low numbered Goudeys but rather a startling bright white that imitates a new Hanes tee shirt right out of the package. A stunning card offered in outstanding NM/MT condition.
