As pricey as 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth cards are, and become exponentially pricier with each rung up the grading scale, the savvy collector looking for value is going to like this offering. Graded VG/EX, this specimen of Ruth's green background card #181 has excellent color, precise registration and accurate enough centering to present well beyond what is typically expected of a PSA 4 card. While the endpoints do show touches consistent with the grade, the moderate rounding is even and not very noticeable with the focal point landing square on the sharp likeness of "The Bambino." The reverse is pleasingly printed with nary a disturbance save for the typical bleed-through of the red plate at the bottom. A solid Goudey Ruth card that will be the highlight of many collections!
