Not many mid-grade cards of players in the twilight of their career catch the attention of advanced collectors. Then again, Babe Ruth isn't just any player and the 1933 Goudey series isn't just any set. Face it, we'd all love to be able to assemble a NM/MT or better Goudey collection, but for most people, the financial impracticality of such a collection makes it necessary to find value. And while iconic cards like the 1933 Goudey "Red Ruth" in a grade of SGC 60 EX 5 really stretches the budget, the featured card offers that value as it displays an abundance of eye appeal. The rounded corners certainly factor into the overall grade but a solid display of clean color, reasonably accurate centering, and acceptable presentation of the reverse, makes this a very solid Goudey Babe Ruth card that represents quite well for the grade and will provide you with a great sense of pride.
