Unlike the brash, boldly colored single pigment backdrops on most 1933 Goudey cards, this Lafayette Thompson NM PSA 7 has a more mellow aura with pink, yellow, and green pastels that contrast with the customary heated red banner along the bottom. The four capable corners hold up nicely with just a slight touch to each. Aptly centered, slightly favoring the southwest, while the back has surprising little penetration from the obverse ink. A very attractive NM issue.
