Walter James Vincent Maranville reportedly earned the nickname "Rabbit" from a seven year old girl who saw him play and thought he hopped around like one. Well, at least that's Maraville's story. Others say it was because of his protruding ears. One thing is for sure; the Hall of Fame infielder was revered enough to be included in the 24-card DeLong series and this PSA 8 example is one of only 8 with none graded higher. Exceptionally well-centered for the often problematic series with bright, bold color as well as four strong NM/MT to MINT corners.
